Ironic how things work out...
Have you ever noticed how bad things happen RIGHT before something great? I feel like it ALWAYS happens. Here's my story.
Friday, a friend and I flipped a trail wagon during work. It was an accident and probably the scariest moment of my life. One minute we are laughing and the next, we are being thrown from the wagon and found myself under the large piece of machinery. It hurt. This 1000 pound cart thing was on top of my legs. And somehow, Taylor (my friend and co worker) picked it up single handedly. Crazy things happen. Anyways, I was in pain. I was taken to hospital. By legs were swollen and bruising. I couldn't apply weight at all. It turns out though, no broken bones! Only tissue bruising.
I just find it ironic how the day before I am going to the temple to receive my endowments something like this happens. But I still went. A flying trail wagon won't stop me. One thing is for sure, I will never forget this day. I had to be wheeled around in a wheel chair throughout the entire session. Slightly embarrassing. But still wonderful.
