lessons.

I have learned more about life than I have ever before. I have learned that people are in your life for a reason. Whether if be a a year or a lifetime, you needed them. I have learned that decisions are always placed before you. I have learned that sometimes the hardest things in life are the best things. It is your outlook which changes the situation from a hole of emptiness or a oasis of opportunities. I have learned that friendship doesn't end with distance. It continues on and on. I have learned that the more you work for something, the longer you wait for something, the more it means. The more you value it. I have learned how to work hard for the things I want. I have learned the meaning of family to a fuller extent. They are my friends who I have for always. They are the source of my joy. I have learned that cooking with friends is so much funner and more fulfilling. I have learned to cry in front of people. I have learned to love deeper and fuller. Those around me have showed me how this is done and shared with me their love. I have learned to adapt to change. I have learned to communicate my feelings. I have learned how to live with people, adjusting to their likes and dislikes. I have learned to live on my own and provide for myself. I have learned how to depend on others, and that I can't always do everything myself.

Goodbyes.

I really really hate goodbyes. I can't stand them. I try to push them far far away. I tell myself it's not really goodbye, and that I will see my best friend tomorrow, or the day after that. But that is not how goodbyes work, for the most part.
Last night was one of the hardest goodbyes I have ever said. My heart hurts. I am gonna miss him so much. He is a wonderful friend and I am so blessed to know him.  I hope he always know how much he means to me.
I am preparing myself for more goodbyes.  Wish me luck.

Carli [Kahr-lee]:

a. The dearest, most amazing sister one can have.
b. my best friend

This post is dedicated entirely to my sister, whom I love greatly.
I mean look at her! She is stunningly beautiful (evident in > picture). She is extremely witty. You should read her written work. Phenomenal. She is extremely charismatic. Probably the best roommate around, besides in the mornings. She can get a little feisty.

10 Things I love about her

          1. I absolutely adore and envy her freckles. I want them.
          2. She is extremely intelligent.
          3. I know what irritates her, makes her happy, and makes me euphoric (I use it to my advantage)
          4. She is my cuddle buddy.
          5. She is my sister, tying us together forever.
          6. She never ever ever gets mad at me ;)
          7. We shop together. love it.
          8. She has a strong testimony of the gospel.
          9. She is a great great dancer. I can't even believe it.
          10. She is the most beautiful person I know.

I love her so much. I hope she knows that.
She can never be replaced.
She is my sister. I love her so.
I am so excited to hang out with her ALL summer.

wonderoussss

yes, wonderoussss. today is exactly that. It is a combination of delight and joy. First, wake up to no school. wonderful. eat a delicious bowl of Cookie Crunch to start my day off. superb. Accidentally spilled milk all over my key board. not so wonderful. (note to self: never get in bed while eating cereal and holding your computer). I dedicated a substantial amount of time to my many study guides. good. Finally get dresses. Walked to J-Dawgs. On the way, was given a Frisbee and a root beer. awesome. Waiting in line for my polish J dawg only to discover Jackson Emery standing directly next to me. I think I drooled a little. fantastic. Basked in the warm, beautiful sun. delightful. Endulged myself with frozen yogurt, topped with kiwis. Yum. And now, currently, I am studying (to a degree) in the library. So far, today has been perfect.

The reason I smile as big as I do.

With the moments passing quickly, and the year coming to an end, a much needed photo shoot was planned. I wanted to capture in a this time and friendship forever. I will never forget or leave these two individuals who have brought sunshine to my life. I love them with all my heart. Their names are Melinda Cummings and Jennifer Marie Kuhn. And this is us:

I cannot explain my love for Melinda (aka. Melly, Lil Crunch) or Jen (aka. J-Dawg, Lil Crack). They are my best friends. I will miss them so much when I leave. I will miss their laughs and our inside jokes. I will miss our dance parties and your Sunday lunches. But they will always be my best friends. always. I love them for that.

over it.

So, I woke up today in a state of bliss. I cannot tell you how amazing it feels to have no more stinkin classes. holy cow. BUT THEN i discover that it snowed last night! are you kidding me? this has to be a joke. Instantly, I went from extremely happy to extremely saddened. Sun where are you?

April Fools [ey-pruhl-fewls]:

An day dedicated to ridicule and slight embarrassment.

In my opinion, April Fool's day has lost its magic, its wonder and surprise. No longer do people fall for simple pranks, thusly people have ultimately abandoned the attempt. Bummer. I thoroughly enjoy pranks. But only good ones. Well thought out ones.

I also thought it was ironic how it was snowing dip and dots today. all day. I have a feeling God finds this pretty funny. If I had his power, I think I would do the same thing. Except maybe make it snow jello and skittles
